Benefits of Slice Seeding:

Increases germination rates, Faster germination times, reduces thatch layer, plants additional seed, increased seed to soil contact. 

We find this service most beneficial as a supplemental service to our aeration package for those who have thin, bare, or areas damaged by drought, heat, insects or disease.  If the area is bare/really thin we will also broadcast seed on top of sliced are and cover with Seed Aide (see link at bottom for info on Seed Aide product) for protection and moisture retention.
